Smallville Seasons 1-5 Review

Written by: Game Dude,

Smallville is the story of the young clark kent and his journey to become Superman. The acting is pretty lame. As well as the music and the editing; however, underneath all the lame editing, music, and acting Smallville seasons 1-5 are fun to watch. (The 5th season is the best) and so I give Smallville seasons 1-5 a 6/10 and game guy gives it an 8.2/10

Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit App Review

Written by: Game Guy,

Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit is a great racing game with really good graphics and details. Basically you have two careers to choose from, Cop or Racer. In cop mode you have to chase criminals around and unlock cars and gain new ranks in your career. It's a hard an challenging game and it's only for the determined game player. Now to the cars, you have a variety of cars in the cop mode such as, the Ford Shelby, Koenigsegg, Lamborghini Murcielago and Reventon, Porche Carrera. In Racer mode, you have to run from the boys in blue and unlock cars and earn ranks just as the cops do. But you have different cars, such as the Pagani Cinque, Dodge Challenger, Dodge Viper, Ford Gt, Bugatti Veyron, and a ton more. We will give this game a rating of 8.7/10

Battlefield Bad Company 2: App Review

Written by: Gane Dude,

BFBC2 is a First Person Shooter made for the ipod/iphone and the first fps I have ever played on the iPhone. BFBC2's storyline is about a group of solders who are trying to stop the Russians. at the beginning of the game you are thrust into a training section and are taught the controls. The controls are somewhat twitchy but they are easy to get used to. There is also a multiplayer mode where you can have up to 10 players battle it out on 3 maps ,and it is very fun. Though I wish that there were more than 3 maps and only 2 of the 3 maps are fun. But overall control issues aside BFBC2 is definitely a game worth owning we give it an 8/10

National Treasure Movie Review

 By Game Guy,

National Treasure the movie incorporates History with with exiting, tense, and awesome adventures. Ben Gates's grandfather gives him info that there is and awesome treasure and the he must find it inorder to protect it. He Then finds a ship called The Victoria. It leads them on a journey to "The Templar Treasure". But it isn't easy, a protagonist has to have a antagonist.  Ian Howe, his former friend and ally turns greedy and trys to get the treasure for himself. between stealing the Declaration of Independence and figuring out Indiana Jones like puzzles the storyline is very thrilling and overall a very good movie. We here at the Game Guild are giving National Treasure a 7.5/10

Rango Movie Review

Written by: Game Dude,

Its hard to review Rango without comparing it to Gore Verbinski's previous endeavor, Pirates of The Caribbean: at World End; so I will compare them. The story is about a nameless lizard who was in a car crash and ended up traveling to the strange town of Dirt. It never rains ware they are so, water acts as currency, In the mean time the lizard comes in to the saloon and claims to be a blood thirsty killer and calls himself Rango. After a series of detailed events Rango and the townspeople go to find "the" water. And I think the whole focus around water is miraculously entertaining. Hans Zimmer created the soundtrack and, well... lets just say you WILL be singing it in the shower and if not, you will every where. It does sound a bit like the dark knight's soundtrack, but the dark knight's soundtrack was very very epic so I guess I can complain. although I could swear there are carbon copy scenes from pirates 3 (particularly the slow paced, boring white desert scenes). Overall Rango is slow paced and boring at times ,but the soundtrack and search for water saves the movie, as well as the comedic touch. overall this movie is extremely entertaining and you will want to watch it NOW. I give it a 8/10.
